Hello! 

My name is Aubree Karner, and I am an illustrator living in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. I live with my husband and two dogs, Ozzie and Kodak. I also frequently have extra dogs around who are guests of my dog-sitting business. 

Once upon a time when I was growing up, I spent a lot of time alone in my bedroom listening to Hank the Cowdog or Ramona Quimby audiobooks while I would draw, paint, or sculpt. My love for stories and art-making has evolved into a desire to tell stories through art. 

After many years in arts education I am now working toward illustration as a full-time career. As I finish my MFA in Illustration with Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I currently spend a lot of time with my canine companions in my home studio listening to grown-up audiobooks while drawing or painting.
